Revenue Cycle Assessment
Ballista was hired by a provider-led leadership team to review financials and measure the ambulatory revenue cycle performance against industry benchmarks. The Ballista team reviewed detailed financial data related to revenue cycle operations and presented options for key improvements to increase revenue collection and decrease account receivable days. Root cause analysis was completed and presented for consideration and follow up by the client. Standard revenue cycle health metrics were provided and compared against key industry benchmarks.
Ballista provided an unbiased assessment of the client's governance, personnel and EHR support structure, honing in on the value of building a strategic relationship between Revenue Cycle and IT. Recommendations for critical enhancements to people, processes and technology were proposed to the client.
